Jill Wilke
Executive Director
Jill Wilke joined the staff in January 2021. Jill has served on the board of directors for 14 years and as the president of the board for the last 4 years. As a master’s prepared nurse, Jill brings her medical knowledge and ten years of administrative experience to Wonderland Camp. The camp will rely on her to oversee the financial affairs, regulatory compliance, processes, and success of the strategic plan. Jill lives in her home that is adjacent to the camp property.

Mike Clayton
Director of Fund Development and Communications
Mike joined Wonderland Camp in 2019 and has lived at Lake of the Ozarks for over 30 years. Mike is responsible for all aspects of fund development including philanthropic giving, community partnerships, grant awards, and special events. As a former broadcaster, Mike brings unmatched experience in communications along with vast network of supporters to Wonderland Camp.

Stephanie Dehner
Director of Administration
Stephanie is a graduate of Missouri State University with a specialized degree in the field of Event & Venue Management. She moved to the lake in 2007 and brings a strong sales and professional marketing background to the camp. Her background also includes budget planning and expense management. The camp will rely on Stephanie to streamline processes, generate in-kind donations, and create additional revenue streams to help sustain camp operations so that we can continue to make memories of a lifetime for our one-of-a-kind campers.

Amanda Randolph, LPN
Director of Health & Wellness
Amanda joined Wonderland Camp in 2023 to oversee the First-Aid Depot at the camp. Amanda is a licensed practical nurse that will manage the summer nursing staff, medication distribution and other clinical care needs of the campers. Amanda’s background is in Home Health care and she will be able to use those skills to support our campers.

Megan Mertensmeyer
Camp Director
Megan joined Wonderland Camp in 2018 working in the summer in various roles while attending college. She earned her bachelors in Special Education from Northwest Missouri State University 2020 and then a Masters in Exceptional Child: Autism in 2023 from Southeast Missouri State University. Megan has a passion for serving our campers and will lead the daily operations of camp.

Sophie Gay
Assistant Camp Director
Sophie joined Wonderland Camp part-time in the summer of 2023 while on break from her Special Education teaching position in Milwaukee, WI. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. In 2024, she moved to Missouri and began her role as the assistant camp director. Sophie’s passion for working with individuals with disabilities helps elevate the camper experience as she enhances the daily operations of camp.

Kaelyn English
Office Assistant
Kaelyn has held many roles at Wonderland Camp since onboarding in 2022. In her current role as Office Assistant, she manages camp registration, office inquiries and supports the daily operations of camp. Kaelyn is certified as a lifeguard and ropes course operator. Kaelyn is a graduate of School of the Osage.

Ty Bustamante
Program Coordinator
Ty joined camp full-time in 2024. Before that, Ty worked for two summer seasons while attending college at Central Christian College in Moberly, MO. His primary responsibility is to create fun, engaging and memorable programming for our campers. Ty is originally from Eldon, MO

Fran Parise
Camp Crew Coordinator
Fran Parise joined the staff at Wonderland Camp in 2023 for the summer and quickly fell in love with serving our campers and the area. She is a retired occupational therapist and accepted a full-time position in 2024. Her skills as an occupational therapist have been a large part of the success in developing the Life Skills and Camp Crew programs.

Missy Hawk
Facility Operations Manager
Missy joined the team in 2024. Her primary responsibilities are to manage the kitchen, laundry/cleaning, and maintenance. She enjoys hearing people rave about her food. One of her favorite tasks at camp is to teach kitchen skills to our campers in the Camp Crew program.

Paul Wilke
Maintenance
Paul Wilke moved to Rocky Mount in 2014 and volunteered at camp as a boat driver. He joined camp full-time as the maintenance manager in 2020. Paul is a “jack of all trades” which he credits that knowledge base because of his early years on the farm. He is also a retired paramedic.

Wonderland Camp is an independent non-profit governed by a Board of Directors
The Board of Directors’ duties includes but are not limited to overseeing financial management and budget planning, supervision of the professional camp leaders, long-term planning, fund raising, scholarships, setting Camper fees, and general decisions regarding policies and procedures at Wonderland Camp.
